About Supervised Intern Therapy
What supervised care means
Graduate-level social work interns are students completing supervised clinical education. They are not independently licensed therapists.
Student clinicians provide services under the supervision of qualified licensed behavioral health professionals. Clients are informed of the student clinician's training status and supervision arrangement before beginning services.

Who provides the affordable therapy sessions?
Sessions are provided by graduate-level Master of Social Work students completing supervised clinical education.
Student clinicians are not independently licensed therapists. They provide services under the supervision of qualified licensed behavioral health professionals.
Where are therapy services available?
Virtual therapy services are currently available to eligible clients in Texas and Ohio, subject to student placement, supervision capacity, clinical appropriateness, and applicable licensing requirements.
Services are provided only when the student clinician and supervising professional are authorized to serve the client in the applicable state.
Does submitting the form guarantee that I will be matched?
No. Submitting a request begins the review process but does not guarantee eligibility, placement, therapist matching, or an appointment.
What happens when the program is full?
