GIVING TUESDAY • HOLIDAY GIVING 2026
This Holiday Season, Help Make Mental Wellness Accessible to All
A gift today can help expand access to affordable mental health care, strengthen the next generation of behavioral health professionals, and bring mental health education to more communities.
Mental Wellness is a Human Right, Not a Privilege.

Mental Wellness is a Human Right, Not a Privilege.
Give the Gift of Access
Give the Gift of Greater Access to Mental Health Care
The holidays can be a time of connection, generosity, and hope. They can also remind us how important it is for people and families to have access to support when life feels difficult.
Yet the cost of care, gaps in insurance coverage, provider shortages, and limited access to culturally responsive services can make mental health support difficult to reach.
Empowering Lives Initiative (ELI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to change that. We expand access to affordable, culturally responsive mental health care while strengthening the behavioral health workforce through graduate-level clinical training, professional development, and community mental health education.
This Giving Tuesday and holiday season, you can help move that mission forward.
Your charitable gift supports a broader effort to make mental wellness more accessible, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for people to receive support and for future clinicians to grow.
Give today. Help make mental wellness more accessible for tomorrow.
Your Gift Supports
Care, education, and opportunity.
Your contribution helps advance a mission that connects affordable mental health services, supervised clinical education, and community mental health resources.
Our Impact
A Foundation Built on Service
Before ELI formally launched in 2025, its founder-supported model helped deliver meaningful mental health services and training opportunities.
Adults supported with affordable mental health services
Youth supported with affordable mental health services
Clinical sessions delivered
Graduate students and early-career clinicians with supervised training opportunities
These figures reflect the founder-supported work before ELI's formal launch. They represent the foundation on which the nonprofit continues to build its mission.
Our next chapter depends on sustainable community support, thoughtful partnerships, grants, and charitable giving. Your contribution can help ELI continue developing programs that respond to real barriers to mental wellness.
Your Generosity at Work
Where Your Donation Goes
Your support helps fund the work required to expand mental health access and strengthen community resources. Contributions are used to advance ELI’s charitable mission, including program costs and the operational resources needed to deliver nonprofit services.
Affordable Mental Health Care
Cost should not be the only factor that determines whether someone can seek support. ELI works to expand access to affordable mental health services for eligible individuals and families experiencing financial or other barriers to care.
Through participating programs, eligible clients may access virtual therapy provided by graduate-level social work interns under licensed clinical supervision. Sessions may be available for up to $35, depending on financial need, program funding, eligibility, and capacity.
Donations help support the resources needed to maintain and develop accessible programs.
Clinical Training and Workforce Development
Communities need qualified behavioral health professionals who are prepared to provide ethical, culturally responsive, and community-centered care.
ELI supports graduate-level clinical education, supervised training, mentorship, and professional development. These opportunities help future behavioral health professionals develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for their work.
Your generosity can contribute to the infrastructure and educational resources that support this mission.
Community Mental Health Education
Mental health education can help people recognize concerns, understand available resources, and make informed decisions about seeking support.
ELI develops educational resources, outreach initiatives, workshops, and partnership opportunities focused on mental wellness, trauma awareness, stress management, burnout prevention, and reducing stigma.
Contributions help ELI build and expand community education initiatives as funding, partnerships, and program capacity allow.
The Resources Behind Sustainable Programs
Effective nonprofit programs require more than direct services. Technology, administration, educational materials, program coordination, and other operating expenses help make the work possible.
ELI is committed to responsible stewardship and maintains separate finances and records from The Empowering Space, PLLC.
Donations to ELI support its charitable mission and are not contributions to the separate clinical practice.
Our Holiday Campaign

This holiday season, we are working toward a proposed fundraising goal of $5,000 to help advance ELI’s mission of expanding access to affordable mental health care, strengthening the behavioral health workforce, and increasing community mental health education.
Every contribution matters. A gift of any size helps build a stronger foundation for the work ahead.
